Hi Everyone,
Friends of the Grove Supporters Association invites you to a poker night on Saturday 6th June, it promises to be a fantastic evening, the game is No Limit Texas Holdem, it will be held in the James Grove Lounge and there will be a tournament for people who have never played before and also a game for the more experienced.
For the beginners, don't be shy if you have never picked up a chip before or held a playing card in your hand ever, myself and my brother Dale will help you learn the game before you start raking in mountains of chips !
The tournaments will be £5 to enter, but with that you will get a free raffle to win a fantastic prize, the prize pool will be half going to the FOTG and half to the winning participants, at present the tournaments can only hold 40 players in total so will be on a first come first served basis, simply reserve your seat by sending me a PM or seeing me Saturday, I will be in the James Grove Lounge from about 130pm.
To those who don't want to be involved, fear not your company will still be appreciated, enter the raffle for £1 and watch the action with a drink. We are hoping to get some kind of kids entertainment in the form of DVD bingo or like.
More details to follow.
Any questions or comments feel free to post or PM.
Cheers.
Darren
