DJ on the PA has been part of the furniture at The Grove, brilliant and clear delivery. Many thanks for all your work Dave, I'm very pleased you'll still be around.

"The Voice of the Grove".

Won't quite be the same hearing another voice on the PA system. Nice guy as well, always found him to be very pleasant and clearly very knowledgeable about not just the Yeltz but football in general.

Sad to hear, spoken to him a number of times and echo Rob's comments. Very nice bloke who I enjoy chatting with, knows his stuff.

I hope he stays around as a fan.

It's a shame he's had to leave...

Thank Dave for all the years of his work in the press box and on the PA system.

Will be odd having you standing by us on the terraces at home games.

I hope you will join in with the singing?

Whoever, tries to replace you will have a big job on their hands. To me and countless others you are the voice of the p.a. system and the rare occasion you were elsewhere you were missed.

Sad news. DJ's voice has been synonymous with football at The Grove for a generation.

Thanks Dave, for everything that you've done for the club and for the big part that you have played in everybody's Saturdays and Tuesdays for many, many years.

You'll be greatly missed on the mic but it'll be nice to see you on the terraces.

It is sad news indeed, but a very big thanks from me too.

Might I suggest some sort of presentation by the club or The Yeltz Trust or perhaps both, by way of acknowledgement for Dave's efforts over many, many years?

Indeed very sad news that DJ has stepped down. A voice I remember from a very young age.

Glad to hear DJ will still be on the terraces.

Many thanks for all your hard work. ;D
