Gresley OFF

The pitch took a hammering last weekend and I'm not sure what condition it's in now, especially given that it's absolutely hammering it down. Hopefully we'll find out soon enough and should any help be required, people will show up and be willing to give it, like for the Leek game.
As for clubhouse, there is one inside the ground and it's showing BT Sport now so next weekend I think it's the Liverpool vs Arsenal game... It'll be on the new tv plus the projector screen from 12:30, all staff & fans from Halesowen are welcome to come and watch it with us, had quite a few from Leek and they seemed to enjoy it. Hopefully know later on this week what the chances are, keeping everything crossed myself to stop withdrawals and get us back up on games!

Their average crowd is highly respectable given their lowly league position, having recently walloped Leek 4-1 confidence is sure to be high.
We could really do with having as many of us there as possible, all together, in the one part of the ground yelling the boys to victory. Come on Yeltz fans get yourselves there on Saturday!

the weather forecast looks reasonable for next week with only one real day of rain so I think it'll be all right.

Gresley's reserve team game at home tonight was called off due to a waterlogged pitch. Let's hope it was more a case of they were preserving the pitch for Saturday. Especially as their pitch took a battering in the last game. We could really do with playing on Saturday and not losing another fixture.

Hmmm! I think you may wish to revise that statement!
It'll be off - believe me.

Gresley's game vs Leek Town may be called off tonight (Leek at Home).

I can't see any fixture in the near future being on, unless you're Romulus or Sutton!

A quick look on the Gresley website and you can find pictures of their game V Leek. Admittedly it was over a week ago but with the rain we've had since then I can't see how it will have recovered in time.

Selfishly hope it's not on, unlikely I can make this week.
Unselfishly hope it's on. I agree with you above, we really could do with a game. I'm a massive fan of having the points on the board rather than a backlog of games in hand.

Gresley is five miles from where I live - it's rained for most of the day.
Hopes are not high in CitE (as we like to call it!).
Wassailing in Whittington awaits
