Good news really, I hated the games against Sutton and Roms

Good to hear so many teams are against it.

Romulus / Sutton was awful.

I wonder if Sutton have been putting the money away to replace theirs?

This raises the question of whether Premier League grounds meet the standard of the Football Conference!

I understand that the higher echelons of football use a hybrid of natural and artificial grass which comes in sections (removable trays) that lock together to make up a pitch - these sections can then be replaced where an individual part of the pitch is worn

Longer term, I suspect that the cost model will change and that artificial pitches will become much more common. However the figure of £1000 minimum revenue looks to be steep and I wonder how sustainable that is in reality, especially if there are more such pitches available which increases consumer choice of where to go.
