The New Grove

Post by piearce9 » 30 Jul 2013, 22:41

Enjoyed tonight's friendly, and particularly pleased to the Shed's renovation complete. It looks great, and I did manage to give the lower boards a quick whack to test the acoustics too, as part of my own pre-season preparations.

I was interested to notice a structure emerging by the club shop- are we allowed to know, or can anyone spill the beans, on what this is going to become? (Decided not to give this the whacking test as it was still in construction.) All in all though, the ground looks great, and a big well done to all those who've helped here.

I'm led to believe that the new structure is going to be a bar for match days, but wouldn't this be taking money from the yeltz bar?? Anyway the ground is looking great, Mybe next the Harry Rudge stand could do with a face lift, like the shed end run the black boarding across the top keeping the Harry Rudge stand on there.
