After a disappointing result against Highgate last Thursday ( 0 - 2 ) the Youth team were in action again last night against top of the table Solihull. We were by far the better side in the first half creating at least 6 chances to Solihulls 2 with Rhys & Shaka causing all kind of problems for the Solihull defence., but the score remained 0 - 0 at HT.
We came out for the second half expecting to carry on were we had left off but never thought we would be 3 down after 14 min. Some sloppy defending for 2 of the goals & a super 3rd meant we had it all to do. Shaka had 2 one on ones with the keeper saving both with his feet Rhys had 1one on one & a clearance off the line & several shots went high & wide. It was'nt until the 82 min Rhys got a goal back then was brought down for a penalty 4 min later which Shaka made no mistake & in the last min Matty Fulloway rose above everyone to send a header which grazed the wrong side of the post. So it was a good ending to the match for the Yeltz lads.
Best game yet this season.
