Good Times Are Back

Post by Laurel Lane Lamper » 21 Feb 2013, 17:29

The signs of recovery to the commercial side of the Club has been mentioned elsewhere but on the playing side John Hill's team has started this calendar year unbeaten and better than any since 1990 (our Souther Prem promotion season) with 1 draw & 5 wins.

Under Martyn O'Connor we started 2007 undefeated for 8 matches but the first 5 of those were draws.

In January 1995 we won 5 and drew 1 but 2 of these were against Gretna in the Trophy.

A 6-4 won over Dudley on 6/1/1990 sent us on a run of 13 League games without losing (although these were interspersed with some Cup defeats) ending on 26/3/1990 when we lost 1-0 at Nuneaton.

Lets hope the manager and players hear these stats because surely that can only motivate them to push on :)

Its amazing what a difference a year makes. Me and Mike have already had people interested in sponsoring matches for next season. An aim for next season is to sell out the match-day hospitality for all/most games.

Companies now are starting to contact us about advertising rather than us go after them but we still need fans help. :D

If you could cc commercial@ht-fc.com into the e-mail also that would be great.
