Anyone south of MILAN is a terrone!
Yes, my Milanese colleagues certainly consider Roma / Lazio to be terrone.
My biggest customer currently is in Naples - Lord knows what that makes them.
We use a translator down there who lists his languages spoken as English, Italian and Napolitano.
I know the city has a bad reputation - although they've now had the bins collected after 20 years - but I find the place very hospitable. I was there during a taxi strike and decided to walk to my hotel from the docks - midnight, 2 miles, all up steps, in little tiny backstreets, in 30 degrees heat, wearing my suit, with luggage.
Amazingly I lived to tell the tale.
Although, I touted some tickets from a mate of mine for Real Madrid v Napoli in the CL last year. There was a period of a couple of days when I'd paid €7k of this Neapolitan
businessman's (sic) money to a bloke I know in The Lye (true) and I didn't have the tickets in hand.
I was somewhat relieved when I got to the hotel in Spain and they were waiting for me.
I suspect that their hospitality might have been tested had it gone South...

On the subject of the Hellas Verona book, it's given me a great way to "bond" with my Italian customers -
Juve & Torinoi - Gobbi di merda
Inter - Communisti di merda
Bologna - Rossi di merda
Vicenza - Mangiagatti (ouch).
Udine - Terremotati (very ouch).
Anyone South of Rome - Terrone
I don't know how the forumistas' Italian is, but that's pretty strong stuff.
We really do need something better for our mates up the A458. Although, I've always found that indifference is the best option.
Merda in Eta scolare.
That's a great Ultras name. And us?

You have 'dealings' with Neapolitans? Brave, brave man.

As I have no idea now what this thread was about it would be remiss of me to not point out that I really do have pizza for tea tonight!

It’s been a wonderful example of “Thread creep”.
Which I thought was Bobble’s nickname?

Well we've enjoyed it. I suspect everybody else thinks they've tuned into the Godfather.

To the tune of "That's Amore":
"Whennnn his shirt's number eight and his tackles are late,
That's Bragoli
When he has his name took, and he goes in the book,
That's Bragoli"
Another classic comment - and so true!
