andy wrote:So Brother Cooper, since when has a quiz answer been based on having to know the son of the person in question?
I googled the managers of every WEST MIDLANDS side I could think of (strangely Burton and Bromsgrove did not fall into this category

), I ran synonym checks on the words 'post', 'subtle', 'shameless' and 'bump', I watched youtube videos of sodding washing powder adverts and checked playing careers from the wrong decade.
What I SHOULD have done was buy a random copy of the Independent and been in your class at school.
You dare do a quiz next week, I've got work to do you know......
You should really know better than to get sucked into Doc's brain-addling nonsense, Comrade Avery.
The best tactic is to take bags of no -notice, he gets bored and then tells the answer without any resultant hair-tearing on your part.
Besides, we have no chance - he is the only person I know who understands 'Sherlock' - or pretends to. Him and our Alex.
Now get on with some gardening!

I came across this yesterday. Does anyone recognise the ground? It was the scene of one of our biggest disappointments.

This one maybe even further back.....

But where is it??
Bl**dy hell! I just may just have worked out how to add a photo to this marvelous journal.
Read this and weep, Brother Avery
If it works, I may even award myself a George!

I was seriously impressed until you put it up twice, one with the photo missing.
