We have a striker!

Jamie Lucas on Contract.
This isn't good. I'm really starting to get excited for the new season, but it just has to go wrong. It always goes wrong. I don't want any more disappointment. Could we really have a good year? Could we?
We could! Believe!

So, is Platt going? I really hope not.

Through the grapevine. Signed for Hednesford Town.

Disappointed this wasn't announced by the Yeltz.

I don't blame Platt for leaving. I wish him all the best, he's been a fantastic servent, and is probably capable of playing at a higher level than the league above us.

Farewell, Platty, my hero :'(

No hard feelings here at all- stuck with us long beyond what was reasonable and I would imagine he turned down various opportunities to leave us before now.

Fully expected him to go this summer (and Morris too) as there’ll be plenty of clubs interested at Step 3.

He’ll be busy though. They’ve signed James Hurst as well and, my word, he was a bag of crap.

We saw the best of James Hurst the last time he was at Hednesford so we know how good he can be, hopefully we can get him back to that level.
I am really pleased with the signing of Platt, last season we had 7 goalkeepers throughout the season after our Player of the year James Wren left us for Stourbr*dge days before the season started, so it's good to get someone experienced in.

That was my thought too, he was awful for us. They've also signed Curley, who was just as bad as Hurst.

As we have so far signed 6 of the Redditch squad that played against us on Easter Monday, the odds must favour the keeper Reece Francis as replacement for Platty.

I hope so. He's a top lad as well.

Jamie Molineux returns as well. I make that nine signings now. Any news at all on current players staying or departing?
