but what really narks me , is that they must have known about the situation for sometime but only revealed it when tickets for the game were discussed. Just how long TRM ?
No idea. Not even remotely close enough to the inner workings to know the full background (haven't been to a men's game since August 2023), so anything I say would be wild and ill-informed speculation. And thus would fit in nicley with most of what's been said online over the past couple of weeks, although I have to say a lot of the comment on here has been pleasingly balanced.

Like I said before, I'm not interested in debating it. I only posted previously to correct your misinformation, KenR (I won't be unkind enough to call it a lie).

I do know the whole situation has been going on for many months. At times it's seemed close to being settled and at others it's seemed further away than ever. Like most contentious issues in life, you'll get a slightly different version of events from whoever you ask. They'll all be telling you 'the truth', but from their own perspective. It IS a complex situation.

Should we move? Probably. But I'd challenge anybody saying so to tell me how, and where? We can't sell what we don't own, the Local Authority won't be supportive (and in the current economic climate, one might ask why should they?), so who's paying for it?

Location - find us a plot of land in Stourbr*dge. The question of a move has been 'on the table' now for over 30 years. The Dell, Halesowen Harriers (as was) and Wassell Grove (out towards Old Halesonians Rugby Club) have all been considered to some degree but not come to anything. The general feeling is it HAS to be in Stourbr*dge. Look at what has happened to Dudley Town since they were efectively forced out of the town in 1985.

In the meantime, anyone who wants to have a pop at our tinpot ground, you crack on. The decisions that brought the club to Amblecote in 1888 are clearly the fault of the current Board of Directors, and anyone who says otherwise is a woke lefty. Or something.

TUM, I totally resent and refute your implication that I am a liar.

You posted something as fact, without qualification or equivocation, which turned out to be untrue.

So, you know...

Look, I'm going to guess you heard it on the terraces, or in the bar, or down the pub. And because it painted Stourbr*dge FC in a bad light and that suited your pre-conceptions, you were happy to accept it as true without the need to check whether it actually was. That's entirely your own fault, so don't go wailing and moaning when someone calls you out on it.
