Top central defender goalscorer with 33? Any offers? Steve Pope close with 28
Toughie.
Andy Pearce wasn’t here long enough, ditto Jimmy Rod.
Phil Wood was, but never scored that many or Kev (without Trev) would have exploded.
I’ll go for LLL classifying Andy Bradley as a centre half?

Midfielder as much as anywhere? I seem to remember he wore every shirt number except no. 1?

I’m struggling.
Chris Jones played up front for us in the ‘70s before coming back as a centre half, but that’s just me deflecting from the fact that I don’t know the answer...

I think it’s Mark Lacey unless anyone knows different.
Now Chris Jones could be another Yeltz record holder?

In which case 2 records ...... longest time between scoring. 1977 hat-trick in 6-2 win over Eastwood Hanley and 1994 consolation goal in 1-3 FA Cup defeat at Telford.
This gives you the chance of your blaze of glory by naming our scorer in our 1978 shock of the round 1-0 win at Telford

It must have been the immortal himself, Geoff Moss.
