Central Defender and Striker.
I remember John being after Hearsey for a while.

Re: New Signings
The signing of a striker from a team that aren't really all that competitive in the WMRL fills me with great optimism. The transfer merrygoround in full swing. If anybody is at the game tonight, tell JH and MC that I have some boots at home. Might sign me too...

Re: New Signings
I wouldn't want to play for us, certainly not as a striker. What's the point?

Re: New Signings
I'm filled with awe at the power of Hills signings, I suppose these latest additions were much sort after as well. ONE of them has already had six clubs and the other , is it four ? in their short careers and both come from clubs way below in the pyramid so they are really going to set this club alight . Superb Mr. Hill. Well that has finally decided me not to attend tonights match, even if I may have been slightly tempted , which i was n't , due to the crap football that's being played under Hill and Clarke.
Sixty years ago, my dad took me to the Grove in my pushchair. I did n't understand the game, just like Hill at this level. Before long , I was imploring dad to take me on the swings and slide and roundabout which were situated in the bottom left hand side of the field. He always did but with regret at missing the match. How I wish that were playthings where I could have escaped to instead of having watched the rubbish served up from players not up to this level and standard. Everyone can see it but Hill.
KEEP SIGNING LOWER LEAGUE PLAYERS AND THAT IS WHERE WE WILL END UP.
FOR THE SAKE OF THE CLUB , HILL, SHOW SOME SELF RESPECT FOR YOURSELF AND THE SUPPORTERS AND GO.
