John Hill (Video Interview)

Post by DanielRolinson » 23 Dec 2015, 17:05

There will be no written article featuring John Hill's thoughts on the official site this week. I'll be carrying out an interview with him this evening asking his thoughts on Frickley and the No 9 Derby.

The video will be uploaded tomorrow morning, I'll post a link here and it'll be available on all official club media channels too.

If anyone wants to (potentially) throw any questions into the pot, feel free to PM me. I can't promise anything though and have most topics of conversation covered!

Great chat this evening with John. Also managed to get a quick couple of minutes with Jay Denny too.

Shame I didn't receive any questions from anyone on here, hopefully the ones I had were good enough!

Video will be live on the channel tomorrow morning.

Top stuff, Yeltz TV! Love these interviews- they're very insightful, even the bits about Xmas cake or pudding!

Not only are these good for the Yeltz faithful, but having such brilliant videos on Facebook and Twitter gives a really good impression of the club, and I'd be surprised if a dozen or so newbies don't see the vids and decide to come along on Boxing Day to find out more.

Happy Xmas lads, and let's hope there's a Tilt-esque screamer from us to boost the view numbers on Boxing Day!

Cheers mate, appreciate the feedback.

Thought the Christmas quick fire would give it a bit of a festive feel, just a bit of fun.

John was very welcoming in his interview, really helpful and knew how I wanted to do it. He answered everything that was put to him calm and comfortably - really good to have the chance to speak to him. Likewise with Jay too, he had just finished training and probably wanted to get home though!!

We can only dream, there's a reason that video got over 8000 views - could do with something similar this year!

Thanks Yeltz TV for the video.

Was at work until late and did not see your request for questions.

Really enjoyed this as the others.

Another cracking piece of work. Well done Yeltz TV, i know these video's aren't exactly 5 minute jobs to put together either. The progress that Yeltz Tv has made to improve is phenomenal and a credit to those involved. I like to hear the interviews and I know it would like to see more of this, but I guess it's probably down to time constraints like everything.

Welll done once again lads.

Cheers John - not to worry, was a real last minute thing to see if anyone was around to offer anything - think I have enough questions in the end though!

Appreciate it Rob.

These interviews are fairly straight forward to set up and record, edit doesn't take too long, but yeah more than 5 minutes - I'm sure many would be surprised at how long editing actually takes!

Hoping to always improve but time constraints/equipment etc is rather limiting, the level of football doesn't help either - if we only get train once before a game for example, heading over to take staff/players away from that isn't fair either.
