The annual tedious task of entering all the fixtures has been completed, so the 18th edition of Fantasy Island is all ready for the new season.

Anyone who wants to play and has any problems registering, PM me and I'll sort you out

Good luck!

It's even more tricky than usual to make forecasts at the start of the season. Brian Clough always maintained that the most pressure is on the home side for the first match, the away side will have their next match at home to try to redeem themselves if necessary.
Out of the last 20 seasons, we've played at home 12 times and winning just 5 of them and once since 2004.

I'm going for home win ;)

Interesting stat! Although for some reason I always thought we played away more often than at home on the first day.

I might be wrong, but I seem to recall that the one home win since 2004 was against Hemel during the boycott. Only just over 100 fans there, although many with ladders and leg-ups watching from over the side!
