Some bozo a few pages back, after the Scotland game said we were pathetic and only an average side. I bet he's eating humble pie now!
Actually though he's not. It's Old Speckled Hen and a bag of crisps....... ;D

Pathetic display. That's why we're probably only an average side. I'm not even going to big up Scotland, they just had a better attitude. Not sure where we go from here. We've probably qualified now anyway, none of the big guns will be quivering though will they......
But the mighty Ukraine will be a better threat than a poor Germany!!

Those that didn't end up crocked looked very poor to me.

Spanish fans quietly optimistic here with an hour to kick off. They're generally pleasantly surprised to be in with a chance of the semi final (although most don't give themselves much chance against Italy or Belgium if they get through). However, they're unanimous in making England favourites now (especially with the semis and the final being at home).

Remember Euro '96,Frank, semis can be problematic for England even with home advantage.
I'm scared stiff of the wounded beast the Ukraine National team is,despite the injuries they
overcame Sweden, and Yarmolenko is World class.Remember Iceland, enough to put a chill
in any Englishmans veins, hyperthermia comes to mind!! :( :( :(

It's always interesting to know what other nationalities think of our chances. Having no bias, fears or worries, no emotional attachment, can give them a clearer idea of what we can or can't achieve.

I don't care what anyone says, Italy ARE the team to beat.
Scintillating football, from their first game to the current match.

Italy - Belgium. What a game so far! This should be the final. I've loved Italian football for as long as I can remember but Mancini has taken them on a totally different course. Wonderful. Can't wait for the second half.

And Spain sneak through.
I can understand Frank how the Spanish do not think they will beat either of these but......

Spinazzola player of the tournament so far, in my opinion. Absolute class!
