The Welsh played well once out of four games, which is never enough in tournament football. The second half
of the Belgium v Portugal match up was the best quality sustained half that I've seen so far.

My nephew,Will says ''Beware of Spain they are going under the radar'' and he's a perceptive judge,I'm
worried sick by the Germans at a Wembley packed with their fellow countrymen!!The Czech Republic are
dangerous floaters.Italy,France and Belgium worry me to death :'( :'( :'(

Spain, Italy, France and Belgium all in the other half of the draw so you can write 3 of them off, then we can meet the remaining one in the final! ;D

To coin a cliche 'No easy games at this stage' enjoying your optimism Andy but I've been following England's
fortunes since the build up to the '66 World Cup when such luminaries as Terry Paine and Ron Flowers were on the fringes
of the squad.Virtually all the managers since have been unlucky or bad.Can Gareth Southgate prove to be bad but lucky? Give
me lucky over very good everytime,he should have won the 2018 World Cup or at least reached the final, nothing but a
straight win in these Euro's (which what with virtual home advantage) will be success, and that will have the gloss taken
off it by our Cousins in Offshore Anti-Brexitland or The Continent as it is mistakenly often referred to!! >:D >:D >:D

What a game indeed!!!
And now with 15 left in the Swiss/French game the French have finally showed us exactly what they are capable of after being on the verge of being 2 down and on their way out. What a game football is. Love it!

The question I find asking myself, now, is are England the Italy of old? Very, very patient in their build up and having the knack of opening up defences. Could it be an England v Italy final or am I jumping the gun? In the words of Barry Davies "interesting ".
