It’s not the first time Germans have been underprepared for a trip to Russia.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Brazil go out either.

They're capable of battering Serbia 5 or 6 nil. But they're equally capable of complete capitulation.

Hope not. They ARE the world cup. We need them in until WE have to beat them. ;)

It don't matter who is in or who is out. You may as well give England the trophy now.

I bet the atmosphere was great. Their fans are really good. I'm surprised there was anyone left there though, most of Iceland seemed to be in Russia. 1 in 10 of the population was a figure I heard!
I was watching in a fan park in freezing rain, but it was brilliant!

Some videos here of when the goal went in, I was in the middle somewhere: http://www.ruv.is/frett/fagnadarlaeti-i ... lagardinum

What a bizarre world cup! There will now be a quarter final line up obviously without Holland and Italy, and now Germany, Argentina, Spain and Portugal have all fallen by the wayside. Before we even get to play our round of 16 match Brazil may have gone as well. Oh and Belgium but I doubt it. This is surely an unprecedented chance for us. Can we? Could we?

For us it's Columbia, then the winners of Sweden v Switzerland and a semi final against either Russia, Croatia or Denmark. We will never ever have a better chance.

I predicted Brazil France Croatia and England as semi finalists. Just to point out that 3 are in quarter finals , just need England to beat Columbia.
Not bad for a Welsh rugby fan
