Whilst I have total sympathy for the fans of Hinkley and Kettering, I think it speaks volumes about the lack of quality on the management committee of the Southern league to allow the clubs to start the season.
Everybody else who follows non league closely knew that they both had little chance of surviving the season, but this seems to have been ignored by the very people that matter. My take is that our league are far more decisive.

According to ther forum the winding up order was rescinded, conditional on the payments due from the lease on Nene Park being paid in full within 28 days. They believe they have the funds available from a justgiving campaign to be able to do so.

I truly hope for their sake this is true, We know only too well how quickly things can turn from joy to dispair when they go legal (the law and justice not being the same) ???

The new proposed ground is within 200-300 meters of Studley FC, no where near the town centre and in the middle of an industrial estate. Not sure how you are meant to attract fans that way.

Since when has "a drab pitch" claimed by Redditch been down to location?

Surely it is down to how the grounds man look after it.
