I guess that 4th from bottom at the end of the season will be automatically reprieved? Might make a few at Alvechurch/Bumsgrove/Sourbridge sleep a little more easily tonight.

Sorry for the genuine supporters, but presumably AFC Nuneaton-Town-Borough-United will be back soon and going bust again in around 10 years.

Tried to keep up with all the trials and tribulations there. To be fair it really doesn't sound like it is down to the the club themselves this time. It would appear that the owners of the ground really have shat on them. Unless a Nuneaton fan would like to tell us otherwise ...

Well not sure I agree with you this time Andy. The landlord was owed £17,000 which was accumulated over many months. Perhaps when they realised players like Lita were on £600 a week (and he wasn’t the only one) and yet they WOULDN’T pay the rent things snapped. As with previous reincarnations of Nuneaton lessons in priorities were not learnt

Oh ok. I was under the impression that the money was offered but he was not prepared to have Borough or any other incarnation of them play there. So the backers consequently pulled out.

Yes, it was offered but patience had run out long before that I am told.
