I had 33-1 on Croatia before the tournament started as my dark horse bet. I still don't think they can realistically win it, but they're off to a good start.

I've got a feeling either Portugal or Spain will win it, myself.

French play crap twice and they're already through. I can sense where this one is going. :-\
Your life must be really dull at the moment Brother Avery -you seem to be on this thread all the time.

Hold on a minute. What am I saying. .... ;)
Just wanted to start and keep up a thread that will keep us ticking over footballwise during the break. Kind of hoped a few more might join in but I guess there are these types of topics all over social media. :)

For my money that's a good bet. Looked at it myself as Croatia always seem to put out a good side despite the 4 million or so population. Plumped for sticking it all on us and Belgium in the end though.
PS, Frank, what's this with Iran?

Mrs Frank is half Iranian, and so mini Frank is also a quarter Iranian. Although the 1st has no interest in football (or Iran for that matter ;) ) and the 2nd has firmly nailed his colours to the Spain mast...

Pity Mrs Frank has no interest. It would be great to be in a household where THREE different teams are supported. The possible games between them suddenly become much more fun. Maybe a bit frosty afterwards though.... ;D
