In season 1968/69 Tony Hackett played in goal for all but one of the Halesowen Town games. In the mid 1960s Tony Cottrill scored 73 goals and formed a formidable partnership with Eddie Bell

Close enough. Only two Yeltzmen to have parts of the ground named after them.

Harry Rudge Stand, obvs.
And Prosser's Bonk - the big bump that used to be about 30 yards out from the Stourbr*dge Road end goal on the right, Les used to dribble the ball onto the top of it, in one of his famous marauding runs, before clattering it into the top corner.

I suspect that he may not have been quite as prolific as nostalgia-stained memory suggests and probably only ever scored that goal at Gresley, but, you know.

Also, Westy will probably want the bit of concreting he did on the steps to have eponymous status, as he claims that it's the best laid bit of cement in the West Midlands, but, no.

Ken Ferrick also played for us in 1982/3 but I don’t remember him.

This gives relatively new folk the idea that our pitch was more like Clent!
