Our prolific goal scorer left The Grove in 1999 for Hereford Utd. Yesterday he provided their fans with an interview about his frustratingly injury plagued time at Edgar St

Around that time several of our players moved there and last week I was wondering if they were there at the same time as Dean Smith but Snapper, Stuart Evans etc I reckon played there later.

James Roberts trialled there last Thursday

I’d forgotten that Stuart Evans went there.
Rob Elms too.

Chronologically I think, when I looked at it last week, Stuart Evans was at Hereford before The Yeltz as did Rob Warner

There was also, of course

And not forgetting Matt Gardiner, now at QPR under Steve MacLaren.

Kerry Giddings scored hat trick on his Yeltz debut?

He did. But he was still hopeless.
Argus Ada promised me certain liberties with him in the centre circle should Giddings prove a long term hit.
Suffice it to say that his virtue was never in jeopardy.

He scored at Barrow:

as did Grant Holt for them, this is the first time I've realised he played against us.

Always loving a Piearce reference- a Yeltz legend and the name I shamelessly stole for my twitter handle! :-[ Possibly my favourite away game of all time was winning 3-4 at Worcester after trailing 3-1 at the break. Piearce scored a hat-trick that day and it was an absolute masterclass in that second half.

I can remember Grant Holt playing against us for Barrow back in the day as well! I had just returned from a trip to Iceland and I think Barrow was colder. It was a 7.30 start on the coach and they scored in the last minute of time added on to knock us out the Trophy. Horrendous.

Talking of horrendous, I am overlooking the fact that Roberts has been on trial with Hereford.

And I think the 4th at Worcester was a gem from Paul Birch. Steve no doubt benefitted from the service provided by such a quality, committed midfielder.

Yes, I'm sure that's right! Might have been a free kick? Shame Yeltz TV weren't around back then :-\

I'd go for a chip from outside penalty area but not sure
