Front page in the Halesowen Chronicle this week is that the suspended prison sentence will be activated on 23-Dec unless it is set aside. The judge was taken unwell whilst giving judgement and the hearing will resume on Monday.

Meanwhile the refuse is still there.

This week's paper is not yet available online

Six month sentence started today. Porridge for Christmas as contempt of court failed to clear site.

Calling it a tip, whether two-sided or three-sided (I agree with the two-sided myself of what it's worth) is a little unfair.

It's a fine cricket ground

Indeed! Royal wedding day 1981, Glenn Turner scored a ton before lunch, the last time a County Championship match was played there.
